Call for Research Skills Workshops

As part of the BCRRHRN Mentorship Program funds up to $2500 are available to researchers interested in hosting a research workshop that is tailored to conducting rural and/or remote health research in BC. Workshop format can range from a one hour lunch session to a half or full day intensive.

Possible topics include grant writing, ethics, qualitative and/or quantitative methods and community-based research in rural and/or remote health research.

The workshop HOST will lead the organization of the workshop logistics (e.g., workshop content, securing workshop facilitator, suggesting venue, local promotion) and is responsible for attending and hosting the workshop. BCRRHRN will cover the event costs and provide support for venue arrangements, promotion, registration, evaluation, follow-up, etc.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Please provide a description of the workshop (title, workshop objectives, workshop facilitation and target audience,) of no more than 500 words. A projected budget up to $2,500.
